WhoseNum provides context about phone numbers. It does not authenticate callers or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of a record.
Operator details pending. The operating identity and support arrangements must be confirmed before public launch.
Interpret reports with care
FTC complaints and community reports are unverified. Caller ID can be spoofed, and numbers can be reassigned. A complaint is not proof of wrongdoing; a missing complaint is not proof of safety.
Use the service responsibly
Do not use this service to harass people, expose private information, impersonate another person, or make unlawful decisions. Do not use its information for employment screening, tenant screening, credit, insurance, or other eligibility decisions. This service is not designed to provide consumer reports under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
Legal review must confirm that WhoseNum is not a consumer reporting agency and that these restrictions fit the production service.
Drafts and submissions
Reports are stored for review and become public only when approved. Contact and correction requests are stored privately for review. These submissions are not sent to a government agency. Fictional examples and older browser drafts stay on your device.

Links to public agencies help you verify advice or report a problem. Those services operate independently. WhoseNum does not claim government affiliation or endorsement.
